Dolphins make one change for Capras clash
The selection of Aaron Whitchurch in the Queensland under 20 side has forced Village Motors Dolphins coach John Dixon to make one change to his side that defeated Souths Logan a fortnight ago.
The in-form Delroy Berryman has got the nod to slot into the wing position vacated by Whitchurch's Maroons selection.
Berryman is no stranger to the Intrust Super Cup side after having replaced the injured Joe Bond earlier in the season.
The Capras last start winners over the Northern Pride will be a tough proposition according to Dolphins skipper Chris Farrell.
"They are always hard at home and they are taking winning form into the game," he said.
The Dolphins skipper said it is up to himself, Isaak Ah Mau, Chris Faust and David Hala to get the Dolphins going forward to lay a platform for the classy backline.
"We have a good backline but they can't do anything if us guys in the middle aren't going forward," he said.
Farrell also expects halfback Luke Capewell to have a big bearing on the match.
"Luke has been fantastic for us so far, if the Broncos get a few injuries in the halves they don't have to look any further than Luke for a replacement.
But like I said we have to lay a platform in the middle first, they have a good pack so we'll have to work hard for it," Farrell said.
The Village Motors Dolphins side to take on the Capras this Sunday and Browne Park is.
1. Joe Bond 2. Delroy Berryman 3. Dane Gagai 4. Marty Hatfield 5. Liam Georgetown 6. Maurie Kennedy 7. Luke Capewell 8. Chris Farrell 9. Tom Butterfield 10. Isaak Ah Mau 11. Derrick Watkins 12. Paul Ivan 13. Nick Slyney Interchange 14. Tom Murphy 15. Troy Giess 16. Chris Faust 17. David Hala
