Dolphins teams to take Jets
Village Motors Redcliffe Dolphins coach John Dixon has named the same seventeen that defeated Burleigh last weekend to take on the Ipswich Jets at Dolphin Oval this Sunday.
The Channel Nine televised match is shaping up as a classic, hard fought encounter between two sides looking to improve on their 2011 placings.
Dolphins skipper Chris Farrell said the Jets who have had two narrow losses in the opening rounds of the Intrust Super Cup will be hungry for a win.
"They have a good side and have only been beaten by one and eight points against quality opposition," he said.
The Dolphins can't afford to complacent after their big win against Burleigh last Sunday.
"If we come out off our game the Jets will blow us away, we need to be switched on and prepared to roll up our sleeves," the skipper said.
Fogs Cup coach Mark Shipway will be looking for a much improved performance from his side this weekend after their last start loss to Norths.
"To be honest were awful in everything we did, some guys just didn't aim up which was disappointing," Shipway said.
The side will be boosted by the return of Tui Samoa and Gene Vaafusuaga from suspension.
Colts coach Troy Lindsay has made just one change to the side that beat Burleigh last weekend.
Reuben Castro returns on the wing after missing out against the Bears.
Lindsay will be looking for a seventy minute effort from his side this weekend after a disappointing second half against the Bears.
