Don McLennan

 

Don McLennan has given the Redcliffe Dolphins a lifetime of service dating back to 1950.

 

Don played for the club in the Murrumba days before the clubs inclusion into the Brisbane Rugby League.

 

But it was his contribution as an administrator to our club that he will be most remembered for.

 

Along with Des Webb and Richard "Tossa" Turner they formed the Dolphins Holy Trinity in the 1960's, 70's and 80's.

 

Don oversaw the construction and moving of the Leagues Club from the Showgrounds to Dolphin Oval.

 

He finished his working career at the Dolphins in 1989 but was never far away if his advice was needed.

 

He took over as Patron of the club in 2008 following the passing of his close friend Richard Turner. 

 

He is a life member of both the Redcliffe Leagues Club and Redcliffe District Rugby League Football Club.
