Churchill Knocked out but ok
International fullback Clive Churchill was injured while leading Norths against Redcliffe in a Rugby League trial at Redcliffe.
He is expected to be fully recovered by tonight.
Churchill received concussion when he collided with Redcliffe forward Des Webb during the first half of the game.
Webb's knee struck Churchill on the head. Churchill was still in a dazed condition at halftime and although he wanted to play on Norths officials took him by ambulance to a Redcliffe doctor for an examination.
Churchill was found to be suffering from concussion and was advised to rest. Webb, who had a badly bruised knee after the incident also didn't play after halftime.
Churchill, a former international fullback came from Sydney last week to captain-coach Norths, Redcliffe captain-coach Ken McCrohon another former international fullback were the outstanding players in the first half of the game. Norths defeated Redcliffe 37-23.
